Buying a TV in Nassau, Bahamas

A good TV deal is more than the sticker price. Before buying locally or placing a special order, compare the screen size, smart-TV platform, condition, warranty terms, delivery and the complete landed cost.

Choose the right screen size first

Measure the space where the television will sit and the distance from the main seating area. A larger screen can be attractive, but the best value is the size that fits the room and your budget without forcing you to spend extra on a new stand or wall setup.

Compare the smart-TV platform

Roku TV, Google TV and other smart platforms can all handle common streaming apps, but menus, app availability and ease of use differ. If you already use a particular streaming ecosystem, choosing a TV that matches it can make setup simpler.

Ask what the price actually includes

When comparing a Nassau price with a US online price, include shipping weight, customs-related charges, delivery and any optional protection. A cheaper US listing is not automatically cheaper after it reaches The Bahamas.

Local stock or special order?

Local stock is usually the better choice when you need the television quickly. A special order can make sense when you want a particular model or size that is not currently available. Confirm the expected arrival process and the seller's terms before paying.
